Yes, I was aware of the shortened life expectancy. Now I question the divorce rate as the national average is above what it was years ago. I attribute that to women having careers because back in the 50s gals were stay at home mom’s etc. Now we’re working, independent and not so keen on taking men’s bs! My moms not bipolar and she struck out three times. That just a matter of having a bad picker 🙂

Good points, all. I do know that a majority of the bipolar friends that I have met on online websites for support groups are single because they have had difficulty keeping a relationship and usually don’t have kids. But I totally see what you’re saying. That’s why I posted it to see what people’s reactions would be. Thank you for commenting.
