Nothing can describe it more accurately than a simple photo.
When Bipolar Depression and Fibromyalgia are kicking your a**.
(Honestly trying to look my best with these supportive pillows, heating pads, ice, Voltaren gel, and no care or energy to comb my hair today. Though, I did manage to drive my son to youth group at church. That’s big on a day like this.)
The pain levels you live with are unimaginable to me. My back is just now starting to feel ok. A few good days, a set back, and then a few more good days . Sometimes the pain is as low as a 1 or even2 . Other days it peaks at 5 or 6. But those days are fewer and fewer. As always , you are in my prayers
I had to google what fibromyalgia was … I had no idea. God my complete sympathies. It sounds horrible. I hope that you can find lots of ways to soothe and help with your doctor. Thinking of you. X
Thanks very much. I just began with a new doctor. He seems to be really trying to help me. Also have joined a gym where I can do aquatics because with the fibro and fused lower back, any other exercise is quite difficult and sometimes makes things worse. I’m not sure where you’re from, but I live in “hill country” in Texas, so even walks are not realistic. Thanks for taking the time to look it up. Means a lot to me.
Texas …. you’re a long way from me. I’ve always wondered what it was like there. Big, I guess and hot I’m assuming? I’m in Scotland and its cold and further north is really hilly and stunningly beautiful. Glasgow itself, although it has beautiful architecture is a pretty gritty place with many problems … drugs, alcohol etc, but the people are incredible. So warm and friendly and they chat! Oh how they chat! I’ll be sad to leave. Glad that you’ve got a new doctor, and as for the swimming that sounds excellent, really excellent as I guess there’s no pressure on your body. Well done, you sound like someone who is really working towards helping herself and that’s quite something. It must be so hard …. I don’t think I can imagine. Well done you ❤️❤️
I’m sorry you’re having a crummy day 😦 So glad you found a doctor who is trying to actually help. Fibro often takes so long to be diagnosed. Excellent the lyric is starting to work.I didn’t have great results with it so I just went back to gabapentin. Hang in there! ❤

Thank you, my dear friend. Just as you pray for me, I pray, wish and hope for you.

Also, wanted to mention Lyrica is helping me a bit. Sometimes pain level 8 is reduced to a 6. So, that’s something.
